Apollo Diet Evaluation, Final Report, Volume I (T. D. Luckey, 1971)
The 148-page final report of a University of Missouri study for the Manned Spacecraft Center on the Apollo diet, covering June 1970 to June 1971 under contract NAS9-10955.

This report evaluates the diet packed for Apollo crews. T. D. Luckey of the University of Missouri School of Medicine wrote Volume I for the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, and the foreword places the work in the Department of Biochemistry there.
The contract, NAS9-10955, ran from June 7, 1970 to June 7, 1971, and the volume is 148 pages. Luckey credits the collaboration of Ahmed Kotb with making possible a second volume, a critical evaluation of markers in nutrition. Apollo 14 flew in early 1971, inside the contract dates, so the evaluation was under way while crews were still going to the Moon.
