The US Census Bureau ran a staff newsletter for its own employees, and two hundred pages of it came out under FOIA in 2016. It behaves exactly as a house organ behaves. The Winter 2011/2012 issue leads on the Bronze Medal Awards, reported by the Public Information Office with the precision the Bureau applies to everything:

On April 7, 1966, the Census Bureau honored seven employees during the first-ever Bronze Medal Award ceremony. On Dec. 7, 2011, the tradition continued with a record 432 employees earning Bronze Medal Awards. Because of the large number of recipients, Human Resources Division divided the presentation into an unprecedented three ceremonies in one day.

Elsewhere there are retirements, safety notes, and the names of people who have moved between divisions. A statistical agency counts its own award ceremonies, notices when the figure sets a record, and prints the number.
